I am both humbled and proud to serve as the Principal of Madisonville Middle School. I have been a lifelong resident of Monroe County and have spent my educational career working for the Monroe County School System. Prior to coming to MMS, I taught 9th-12th grade English and Journalism at Sequoyah High School and also served there as Assistant Principal. I am passionate about the importance of education and believe all students can learn and experience success. I am very thankful to work with such an amazing and dedicated staff and a wonderful group of students each day.
On a personal note, I reside in Tellico Plains with my husband, Trent, and we have five amazing children. Our oldest daughter, Tayla, is currently in graduate school, and our son Trevin attends TPHS. We also have a four year-old, Tensley, and twins, Tyson and Tyra, who will turn two in March. I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and reading.
