MMS Library Media Center

Mrs. Greer works collaboratively with students, teachers, administrators, families, and our community to meet the personal and academic needs of MMS student learners.  The MMS Library Media Center is home to over 5,700 books, 41,000 eBooks, & several online databases.

The library is open to students Monday-Friday 8:00-3:00.  Students come to the library with classes or individually with a library pass.

We are always in need of donations to allow our students to explore and learn.  Our current needs are games, Legos, yarn, and unwanted materials to practice sewing on a sewing machine.  Please send in with your student & we appreciate your support.
-- Students may have up to two books checked out at a time.  Books are due two weeks from the date of checkout.  Avoid late fees by turning in your checked out materials on time.

-- Students must pay for any lost or damaged library books.

I started teaching in Texas in 2001 and found my way back home to East Tennessee a few years after.  I graduated from The University of Tennessee, Carson-Newman College, and West Georgia University.  I have three boys active in sports and school.  We added our first puppy, a golden doodle, to our family this summer and I am utterly exhausted.  No one told me that having a dog is like adding a newborn!  I enjoy playing musical instruments, gardening, cooking, and learning foreign languages.  I am looking forward to a great year.  If you need any help with finding resources, articles, or books online please send me an email at greera@monroek12.org.Mrs. Greer
