Welcome!

Hello! My name is Brandy Snider, and this will be my 11th year at Madisonville Middle School. This will be my third year teaching Computer Science and Career Exploration, and I'm excited to help our students explore and investigate some new concepts in these subjects. I also serve as our school Tech Lead and help students with all things Chromebooks and technology.

I grew up in Ft. Myers, Florida, and moved to Tennessee in 2005. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, including an endorsement in Middle Grades which certifies me to teach K-8 in all subjects. I added my Computer Science endorsement in 2023, allowing me to teach Computer Science to K-12. In 2024, I received my M.Ed. in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology. 

I live in Madisonville with my husband Daniel, 8-year-old son Rain, and our 4 fur babies. I love reading, playing video games, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.

I am really looking forward to meeting all of my students and working with them this year!
