I have been teaching since 2009 and have had the privilege of working with students at different stages in their learning journey. For 11 years, I taught 3rd grade English Language Arts, and I also spent a year teaching a self-contained 4th grade classroom. Over the years, I developed a strong interest in supporting multilingual learners, which led me to earn my degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. After completing the Praxis to add my ESL endorsement, I began teaching ESL and have been dedicated to this work for the past four years.
Teaching is truly my passion. I love creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired. The best part of my work is watching my students grow—academically, socially, and personally—and celebrating their successes along the way.
