Penny Tipton

I am a lifelong native of Monroe County and a graduate of Vonore High School. I am a graduate of Tennessee Tech with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Lincoln Memorial University with a Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision. I have been employed with the Monroe County School System for more than 30 years. I began my career as a classroom teacher, teaching at MMS and 4th grade at MIS for many years. I now serve as the Assistant Principal of MMS. 

 

I have been married to my husband for 36 years, have 2 daughters, and 2 grandsons.

 

I enjoy traveling, camping, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
