MMS Announcements for March 9th-13th

More information about the Census and how to fill it out went home with students last Friday.  Completing the 2020 Census is critical to help fund our schools. 
Congratulations to our MMS Track team.  They represented MMS well.  Zakiayah Hensley, Ashtin Brown, Dakokta Summey, & Clint Staples won their 100 meter dash.  LeLand Croft won the boys 400 meter dash.  Isabella Taylor came in 2nd in the girls 400 & our boys team cam ein 2nd in the 4x100 meter run.  
All Talent Show Contestants Dress Rehearsal is scheduled for this Thursday, Mar. 12th.  Make sure you are in attendance and bring all your props ready to rehearse.
The 6th grade class is in the lead for the most books read this school year.  Keep reading and enter your books read in Google Classroom.  The contest ends at the beginning of May.
If you have any Legos collecting dust or if you are tired of stepping on them, our library needs them.  The Legos are going to be used in an interactive wall and completing various stem learning activities.  Legos can be dropped off to the front office.  Thank you!
Spring Sports & Spring Pictures have been rescheduled for Friday, March 13th.  Spring Pictures are pre-order only.
If you are a 6th grader & want to earn a free ticket to Six Flags Over Georgia in Atlanta, stop by the library & pick up the parent info sheet from Mrs. Greer.  Parents must use our class code.
Students interested in participating in the upcoming 4-H Clover Bowl need to sign up & pick up a packet from Mr. Bivens or Ms. Coile.
School t-shirts are for sale in the office. $10
Do you have a sewing machine you no longer use?  Our students are learning how to sew and the library is in need of several machines.  Please drop off the sewing machine to the front office.  Thank you!
The MMS Spring Talent Show is March 13th as we celebrate our Rewards Day for the 3rd grading period.
FCA is Tuesday, Mar. 17th at 7:25AM in the gym.
Students are to sit in their designated area and report to their bus line when the line # is called.  Students who are not in the designated areas will receive lunch detention.
Cell phones and electronic devices are only permitted to be out during lunch and at bus duty.
